How do I upload new artist pictures?

All trusted members of the Last.fm community can upload artist images and artwork to the website.  To do so open any artist image or photo gallery and click on the red "+ Add Image" button.  If you don't see this anywhere, you might not have met the requirements to be granted image uploading privileges yet.

Please read the following guidelines before uploading images to Last.fm:

Image file must be no bigger than 5mb and JPEG, PNG or GIF format.

You must only upload images that you have created yourself or that you are expressly authorised or licensed to upload. By clicking "Upload image", you are confirming that the image fully complies with Last.fm's Terms of Use and that you own all rights in the image or have authorisation to upload it. Do not upload anything which you do not own or are fully licensed to upload.

Images should be actual images of the artist. In the case of virtual groups or bands that appear in movies/tv shows, the characters may be shown (e.g. Gorillaz).

Album covers, logos, and other representations are discouraged from artist galleries. In the case of actual artist images being unavailable, logos may be used instead.

No "funny", or anti-artist images to be used. Similarly, those images should not contain any sexually explicit content, race hatred material, or other offensive symbols or images.

Please check the Community Guidelines for further information on the kind of content which is not acceptable.
