You can upgrade to Commercial Free by managing your CBS All Access subscription with these steps for your device or platform. 
 

Desktop, Laptop or Mobile Web Browser

If you signed up for CBS All Access on desktop, laptop, or mobile web at cbs.com, you can use these to change your plan.

While logged in

  1. Visit cbs.com and click on your user initials in the upper righthand corner. 
  2. Click “Account”, to be taken to this page.
  3. Click the "Go Commercial Free" button* in the upper righthand corner - OR - scroll down and click "Upgrade" in the Subscription & Billing category, next to Plan.
  4. Select “Commercial Free”, then "Switch Plan". If you change your mind, just click "Cancel". A confirmation screen will display your upgraded Commercial Free status.

Important: If you subscribed to CBS All Access on another billing platform, like iTunes, Google Play, Amazon or Roku, you’ll need to return to that platform to upgrade your subscription.


iTunes
If you signed up for CBS All Access via iTunes, you can use the steps below, or visit https://support.apple.com/ to contact iTunes Support.

On your iPhone or iPad home screen

  1. Tap Settings, then your name at the top of the screen.
  2. Tap “Subscriptions”. You’ll see all your active subscriptions. 
  3. Select the “CBS All Access” subscription, then select “Commercial Free” to upgrade.
  4. Use Touch ID or enter your Apple ID and password to confirm your plan change.  

Note: If you don't see your CBS All Access subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID. If you are, then you might have subscribed on another device, or through CBS.com, and not through iTunes. Please return to that device or CBS.com to upgrade your subscription.   


Apple TV 4/4K
On Apple TV, you can switch plans and otherwise edit subscriptions only for tvOS apps that are installed on that Apple TV. For Apple TV (3rd generation or earlier), use an iOS or iPadOS device or computer to manage your subscriptions. 

  1. Open Settings from the Apple TV homescreen
  2. Select Users & Accounts, then select your account.
  3. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Select the “CBS All Access” subscription, then select “CBS All Access - Commercial Free” to upgrade your plan.


Google Play 
If you signed up for CBS All Access via Google Play on your Android device or Android TV, use the steps below, or visit https://support.google.com/googleplay. Alternatively, you can call (855) 836-3987.

Via Android (phone or tablet) or Android TV

  1. On a phone or computer, go to g.co/play/subscriptions.
  2. Select your CBS All Access subscription, and choose the Commercial Free plan.

That's it!


Amazon Fire TV/Kindle Fire Tablet
To switch your CBS All Access plan on your Amazon device:

    1. From the Menu, select Settings, then Manage Account. You’ll see your subscription plan information.
    2. Select your CBS All Access subscription, and choose the Commercial Free plan.

    You can now begin streaming Commercial Free! 


    Roku
    To switch your CBS All Access plan on your Roku:

    1. From the home screen, select Settings > My Account > Upgrade.
    2. Select the blue Upgrade tile.
    3. You’ll be taken to the Roku payment flow. 

    That’s it! You can now begin streaming Commercial Free!
     

    Smart TVs, Gaming Consoles & Facebook Portal TV
    If you signed up for CBS All Access on your smart TV (LG TV, Samsung TV, and Vizio TV) or via a gaming console (Xbox, Playstation 4) or Facebook Portal TV, please use the upgrade instructions below:

    While logged in

    1. Visit cbs.com and click on your user initials in the upper righthand corner. 
    2. Click “Account”, to be taken to this page.
    3. Click the "Go Commercial Free" button* in the upper righthand corner - OR - scroll down and click "Upgrade" in the Subscription & Billing category, next to Plan.
    4. Select “Commercial Free”, then "Switch Plan". If you change your mind, just click "Cancel". A confirmation screen will display your upgraded Commercial Free status.
