Why am I seeing a message to disable my VPN/proxy when I try to stream a show?



What does this mean?
If you receive this message, it means we’ve detected that your device is connected to a VPN, proxy service, or other software that may reroute your internet traffic outside your current region. Please disable these services on your device to stream videos. 

How do I know if I'm on a VPN or proxy?
VPNs or proxies require manually enabling. If you have not personally set up a VPN or proxy on your device, please contact your ISP to have them verify your IP address. 

How do I disable them?
The best way to do this is to make sure your device's network settings are set to “Automatic”. You can also try restoring your device's default network settings. If neither of these options work, please contact your device manufacturer or ISP for assistance.
